Snapdeal founders letter to Employees all but confirm imminent sale

It's not a secret for Snapdeal which had a rough year, but Snapdeal had to layoff or cutoff around 600 people in February, while Snapdeal owned Freecharge CEO Govind Rajan left the digital payment firm. Then it came to know that the Snapdeal's founder Kunal Bahl and Ronit Bansal had written letter to their employs announcing they are taking 100 percent salary cut.

There are the reports which saying that Flipkart will acquiring the Snapdeal, in the deal that is pushed by the Soft Bank, one of the biggest investors in Snapdeal.

In the letter which were sent to the employees from the founder of Snapdeal had written  "While our investors are driving the discussions around the way forward, I am reaching out to let you know that the well-being of the entire team is mine and Rohit's top and only priority."

Of course, if the speculation is correct and Flipkart ends up being acquirer of Snapdeal, its unclear what will follow for many of these employees and indeed what will follow for Snapdeal as Brand.
