Redmi Note 4 Explodes in India

Exploded Redmi Note 4
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 allegedly catches fire which is seen in a video from the retailer's shop at Bengaluru. While in the video shopkeeper was trying to insert the SIMS into customer mobile but who knows that the mobile would explodes immediately. These explosions are normally caused due to over heating or while charging but on that time mobile phone was not connected to any chargers or any accessories.

On other hand Xiaomi responded by saying that " They had started their investigation and to them customer safety is in number 1 priority." And as per incident Redmi Note 4 replacement had given to the customer.

Thankfully nobody got injured, but what if this incident was happened while talking to someone else or it's in the pocket of someone then the consequences would be very bad. We hope nobody should experience this.

Later on Monday company made a statement to their customer's :
"At Xiaomi, customer safety is of utmost important to us. We investigated the Redmi Note 4 in the images, and concluded that it was a case of damage due to faulty third party charger used by the customer. Nonetheless we worked with the Poorvika store where the unit was bought, and replaced the customer damaged unit with the brand new Redmi Note 4.

However after thorough investigation, we cannot validate the source of this video, as it has no relation to this case and was not from Poorvika store. In fact it is unclear if this separate and unrelated incident depicted in the video involved a Xiaomi device."
